Having a bridal shower? While you are at it, go to the spa! The organizer of the shower can reserve space for everybody. Spas are getting used to this new trend, so it shouldn’t be difficult to find one that has had some successful brunches, or lunches, and everyone attending the shower can be signed up for two or three spa services. The organizer can have a little meeting and the guests can decide to pitch in together to pay for the bride’s services, as their shower gift for her. Order a great lunch and enjoy!
Another new trend is to have men present which can actually make the whole activity much more relaxed. Making bouquets and hats from the curly ribbons and bows is a tradition which is fading out to some degree and these showers are more often held at the couple’s favorite hangout – maybe a restaurant, or even at a friend’s house where the food is catered.. or maybe it could be a pot luck!
One more activity-centered bridal shower which is becoming popular is the one held at the bowling alley! Yes! This is definitely a winner for those who love to bowl and go out for pizza! This can be for women-only or for couples. Attendees can, again, pool their funds to pay for the bowling and the pizza as the gift to the bride or couple.
